Richtige Stocklänge
Richtig messen: Um eine ausreichende Stützfunktion zu erreichen, ist es notwendig, daß der Stock in
der richtigen Höhe individuell angepasst wird. Er soll dem Benutzer eine aufrechte Haltung bei leicht angewinkeltem
Ellbogen ermöglichen. Stellen Sie sich gerade mit normalen Straßenschuhen hin, lassen Sie die Arme locker nach unten
hängen und messen Sie von der Handwurzel (Handgelenk) bis zum Boden. Das ist die Gesamtlänge inklusive Griff.
Richtig tragen: Nur Mittel-, Ring- und kleiner Finger umschließen den Griff, Zeigefinger und Daumen
berühren ausgestreckt den Griffansatz am Stock. Der Stock wird gleichzeitig mit dem behinderten Bein auf den Boden
aufgesetzt. Dabei ist es sehr wichtig, das Gewicht möglichst seckrecht auf den Stock zu lagern.
